Design The Inspiron 13 5000 2-in-1 has a functional, but unimpressive design. Made of gunmetal-gray, matte plastic, the Inspiron at least is a slightly different color than Dell’s many silver Inspirons. The screen area has a thick black bezel with oddly rounded corners that don’t match up with the square lid. This results in an area at the upper left and upper right of the screen where you see the gray plastic layer behind the bezel....

Design Dell kept things simple with the 5280’s design. The notebook’s matte-black, carbon-fiber-reinforced polymer shell looks and feels sturdy, and its polycarbonate keyboard deck provides a comfortable area for your wrists to rest while you’re typing. The Latitude’s first USB 3.0 port, USB Type-C port and HDMI port are all located on the machine’s left side, while the headphone jack, second USB 3.0 port, VGA port and Ethernet port sit on the right....

Armed with an Intel Core i9-10885H processor and 32GB of RAM, the Precision 3351 delivers fast performance for business users who run demanding tasks. Combine that with minimal display bezels and a full-size keyboard with a pointing stick, and the Precision 3551 shows that it is meant to be a serious workstation. Having said that, there are some shortcomings beyond the design. I’m referring to Google’s shutdown of Stadia, the company’s cloud game streaming service that is going dark in January after roughly three years. While I don’t think anyone that was a Stadia subscriber or even a casual observer of the platform could suggest that they were shocked by the announcement, it did catch some off-guard. You wouldn’t call a one-story house a high-rise, so we shouldn’t label a 1366 display as “high definition,” when it’s the lowest resolution you can get. When shopping, you need to look for a model with a display that’s at least “full HD,” which is also known as 1080p, or 1920 x 1080....
