The lack of design changes or ports doesn’t come as a surprise, seeing as last year’s MacBook Pro 14 and 16-inch models already delivered a major revamp. These models came with three Thunderbolt 4 slots, an HDMI port, an SDXC card slot, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, so we’re now expecting the same for the upcoming 2023 models. The M2 Pro and M2 Max chips are already expected to boost performance, keep the laptop cool, and bring enhanced power efficiency — if the MacBook Air M2 is anything to go by....

Much of what made the previous version a critical success remains present on the MW75, including the lengthy battery life, natural sound, and stellar build quality. The company’s active noise-cancelling (ANC) technology has been updated, more microphones were added, and you’re given a few more accessories to play with for extended functionality. Unfortunately, ANC performance, while great, doesn’t compare to the market’s best. But while Microsoft and its vendor partners previously offered 10 S as a version of the operating system, now it will be a “mode” in every mainstream version of Windows 10. Systems with Windows 10 Home and Education in S Mode will be able to upgrade to Home for free, but Pro users will have to pay $49 to jump from Pro in S Mode to regular Pro. There is one oddity: Thurrott reports that Microsoft will allow antivirus and security apps to run in S Mode....
